Meet Jackie, our resident hostess 

with the very most-est. 

Jackie’s favorite pastime? 

It’s a tie between laying out a beautifully set tablescape (complete with Mah Jongg tiles and snacks) and whipping up a super-savvy spreadsheet.

With more than 20 years of senior leadership in luxury brand strategy, Jackie blends entrepreneurial vision with deep luxury industry roots. Her MBA from Babson and a pivotal VP of Sales role at Hearts On Fire—where she helped pioneer branding in the diamond world—shaped her bold, creative approach. 

From presenting at immersive

training events such as HOFU with attendance exceeding 800 held at The Wynn, Encore, and Bellagio, to creating iconic Boston retail experiences such as Edible Art while she held the role of President at Shreve, Crump, and Low. Jackie is known for her high energy and ability to turn tradition into vibrant, modern experiences. 

Jackie has held executive board positions with Women’s Jewelers Association, Make A Wish Foundation, and Eugenia Grace, a start-up ecommerce platform that connects handmade designers with luxury consumers. She brings heart, style, and strategy to every detail, building brands and community experiences that feel both elevated and deeply personal.

A proud doggie mom and self-professed jewelry zealot, Jackie shares her passion for Mah Jongg with hosting any event with flair, playing golf, and cooking. 

(And feeding anyone who crosses her path with a gourmet meal, or as Jackie likes to refer to it as “just putting out some light snacks.”)

Meet Julie Sopp, a former financial services marketing executive from the concrete jungle of NYC. 

Now a Mom-mager extraordinaire, she seamlessly juggles life as a mom

of two teenagers, a loving wife, and dog momma to her rescue, Pippi. In her pre-parenting life, Julie was a marketing whiz, crafting campaigns that could probably sell ice to an Eskimo. 

But perhaps her greatest achievement? Sparking the Mah Jongg craze that took her social circle by storm. Julie is the proud founder of a Mah Jongg sisterhood, a fabulous network of ladies who gather to learn, laugh, and play. Her infectious enthusiasm has turned Mah Jongg into the unofficial sport of choice, proving that a little strategy and a lot of laughter can turn any gathering into an epic event. 

With an uncanny ability to teach anyone-even those who can't tell a tile from a toaster-Julie has become the Mah Jongg mentor for many, bringing joy and connection to her community.

Meet Kim, the one who will definitely grow up to be The Old Lady Who Lived In A Shoe.

What do you get when you combine a successful businesswoman, a thriving financial advisory background, over 30 years of sales experience, a passion for performing, and a serious shoe habit? 

You get Kim Miles.

As the Founder and CEO of Miles in Heels Productions, Kim is a sought-after TEDx

speaker, emcee, creative collaborator, and event strategist. She partners with her clients to deliver powerful messaging to key audiences in fresh, engaging, and often unexpected ways. Whether live or virtual, from concept to execution, Kim and her team create unforgettable experiences that blend business savvy with entertainment value.

Kim is known for her ability to create mic-drop moments by using both the analytical and creative sides of her brain. She brings strategic thinking, creative flair, and flawless execution to every project---from securing celebrity talent and producing compelling video content to crafting sharp, effective messaging. Her goal is always to ensure clients connect with their ideal audience.

Kim has collaborated with high-profile talent such as Fran Drescher, comedian Judy Gold, Miguel Cervantes of Hamilton, and James Beard Award Winner, Top Chef Karen Akunowicz adding star power to her clients’ events. When she’s not commanding the stage or producing high-impact events, Kim can be found skiing, golfing, playing Mah Jongg, launching new companies, or singing with her band—though she’s rarely seen without her signature heels.

Meet Renae, our tech guru and titan on the dance floor. 

She’s always down for a great

game of pickleball, golf, and/or Mah Jongg (often in the same day).

A seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Renae has built deep leadership and technical expertise through management roles at Fortune 500 companies including Samsung and Motorola. 

Alongside her corporate success, she has also cultivated a strong entrepreneurial spirit, serving in executive leadership and board positions for more than 20 bleeding-edge and early-stage technology companies.

With a passion for innovation—and a particular focus on connectivity at the edge—she has guided global design engineering teams toward next generation technologies,

helping organizations stay competitive and accessible in an evolving global

marketplace. A committed women’s advocate and dedicated mentor, Renae is deeply invested in empowering emerging leaders and supporting the next generation of talent in the

technology sector. It’s one of the reasons she has fallen in love with the game of Mah Jongg; it’s so much more than a game. It’s a sense of community. It brings women of all ages together to share in an activity that is as social as it is mind-bending. 

She never met a set of tiles
