What's the Mahj House Buzz?
The Mahj Mavens did an incredible job creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for beginners to learn the basics and then try out their new skills. I arrived, nervous to try this game, and right away the group made me feel welcome and relaxed. They shared a presentation that was divided into digestible sections and designed to make things easy and understandable. They gave us a card, some fun reminders, and set us up in groups to try our first hand. It was a great night and I can't wait to play again!

Not kidding, it was one of the best events I've been to at the Winchester Country Club, socially. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED how we had assigned tables and the groups were mixed. Met some new folks, too, which was great! Great energy and tone with just the right amount of passing the mic around and level of content during the lesson. Having the presenters and the experienced players circulate around the room helping was fantastic. Kudos on this great event!

This Mah Jongg event was such a fun night! I am so impressed by how much i learned - I have heard how complicated this game is, but The Mahj Mavens made it approachable and fun! I am excited to keep practicing. On top of that, it was such a fun night. I caught up with people I hadn't seen in years, made some new friends, and I really loved the multi-generational aspect. I can't wait to keep playing.
